Bern offers two foam versions of the Muse helmet: An EPS hard foam helmet (EPS) and a breathable, lighter Brock soft foam helmet (Hard Hat). This Hard Hat version of the women's Muse Helmet has an open cell, Brock foam design that is lighter and more breathable than the EPS hard foam. Brock foam gives skiers and riders multiple low-impact protection, but the foam does not meet the action sports head protection criteria outlined by the ASTM F 2040 and EN 1077B standards applied to EPS hard foam helmets. The Women's Hard Hat Muse Helmet features an internal knit liner that snaps out for warm days.
