Before you go spill your spaghetti all over the mountain, lock your lid with the Theory. Combining near weightless protection with the infinite adjustability of Red's new Air Band 270 Fit System, it also features a low-profile brim to keep snow out of your goggle vents. The low-profile, air-fueled Air Band 270 headband is intelligently sandwiched between the helmet shell and eight anatomical pads, complete with living hinges that softly contour to your head for that perfect fit. Subtle molding control for desired comfort is achieved using the Air Band pump-button on the right ear pad. The Theory also comes equipped with an ultra light-weight in-molded polycarbonate shell and an extra durable ABS cover and an integrated Airvanced Ventilation system that is rider-controlled and allows variable airflow to the inner helmet microclimate and limit the invasion of outside elements. And the Quick Clip II Ear Pads (another unique feature of the Theory) are so easy to use; simply snap them into place and you're ready to ride. Improved locking pads add warmth to enhance comfort and easily convert for multi-season use. Wearing gloves and using your gear while riding can be tricky - that's why RED has made the tri-side buckle and away-from-the-collar positioning easier to use while wearing gloves, so you can get the right fit without chilling out your toasty digits. RED Prime helmets are ASTM 2040/CE 1077B certified and come equipped with standard features such as an airtight and seamless integration between RED helmets and Anon goggles which feature a 1:1 fit ratio.
