Because not everyone wants to flash a Player's card to get in on the action. Giro S4 Features: Construction: Injection molded ABS shell and lightweight EPS liner offer proven, steady performance. EPS Liners: If it wasn't the best, we wouldn't use it. But 15 years of R&D experience and thousands of impact tests prove that EPS (expanded polystyrene is truly the best material for snowsport helmet liners. Why? Because EPS offers the most consistent performance over the widest range of conditions; gram for gram it absorbs more impact energy than other materials; and it's incredibly light. No other material offers all three benefits together, and nobody has more experience to prove it. Goggle Notch: Every one of our helmets is designed to match-up with goggles for a comfortable, gapless fit. Our deep Goggle Notch is a simple detail that works in tandem with a security loop to keep goggles locked-in all day long. Because sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest difference. Ventilation: 12 vents with a Weatherstrip vent plug system to seal out cold and snow. Removable Earpads: When was the last time you rode all day in conditions that didn't change? That's why helmets featuring removable earpads are more than a skate-style look. Our earpads are snap to install or remove, they lock-in to the helmets securely, and they offer a nice bit of extra warmth whenever you want it, without restricting your hearing.
